School year, that is, not calendar year. C had her first day back on August 31st and she was really excited. She’s decided that she’s going to ride the bus every morning this year (yay!) and for the first year my town is bussing kindergarten kids one direction (we have half-day K) so L wants to do the same. No complaints from me! It gives me time to “just” have the twins in the mornings. Here are some pictures from the 31st:
C on her first day (you can see the evidence of her extracted teeth – more on that if I ever catch up); L fishing for “his” classroom supply; T on the walk to meet the bus; G being dramatic
The first days of Autumn have arrived, and I have photographic evidence of that, too:
Maple leaves and goldenrod in bloom mean it’s autumn! I love this time of year, especially in New England.
G recently learned how much fun it is to kick yours legs out from under you and flop down on your bum (on a bed, usually) and I finally got a picture of her mid-flight. We were supposed to be getting L to bed, but she was too cute not to grab the camera!
