I’m determined to do two things on the knitting front:
1) Either finish or frog my WIPs — those of you who have me friended on Ravelry can see them, but for those who don’t I have about 5 that need to be dealt with one way or another.
2) Get my stash under control! I have an embarassing number of skeins of Wollmeise yarn, which I absolutely adore for their yardage and intense colors. However, I will never get around to actually knitting all of them, so I need to weed the collection down a bit. I also have a bunch of single and pairs of skeins I originally bought either for the shiny factor or for a project that’s no longer of interest to me, either because the child got too big (and in one case his younger brother also got too big — eep!) or my tastes have changed. Again, for those of you on Ravelry, look for a destash soon. I’m hoping for the end of the month.
I’ve been making odd little things out of leftover yarn, though, one of which is this cute little springtime gnome for a friend’s daughter:
(Please ignore the chickens and snack bowl in the background – LOL!)
