I’m going to try the 365 project again. My last attempt was in 2009 and I think I maybe lasted into March, but I don’t remember. It’s my first try using this blog anyway.
Dinner on New Year’s Day is always black-eyed peas and cornbread, today made in the crockpot (aka my new best friend). We’ve had this since we got married and it’s a nice, big 6 quart model, but only recently has it gotten a lot of use. Over the past couple of weeks I’ve used it to make chicken paprikash, beef stew, and oatmeal twice.
My energy levels are highest in the mornings, so if I can managed to prep everything and toss it in we’ll have better dinners more often — that’s the theory anyway. :-)
