Today was weird egg day out in the coop. First, for the photo of the day, a gigantic egg next to an average egg:
Both of those are from today, the huge one is from a Rhode Island Red and the normal one is from a Blue Andalusian.
And while I was out in the coop tending to the ladies the evening I got to see an egg being laid. It’s also from a Rhode Island Red, but its shell is almost completely undeveloped. I made sure to give them a bunch more oyster shell since they’re not out scratching with snow everywhere.
