I still need to update the photos, but since I need to share my goals to help hold myself accountable, here’s what I’m doing for March:
Forgoing added sugar and learning to re-appreciate the natural sugars in food. (For example, fruit and sweet veggies like carrots are fine; snack chips with added sugar in any form are not.) I am allowing myself stevia in my coffee and tea.
Forgoing gluten entirely. This one makes me nervous, more nervous than forgoing sugar since gluten is in a lot of things I don’t even think about most of the time.
I’ve also joined a challenge to eat at least six servings of vegetables and fruit every day for March.
I’m hoping that by the end of the month I will feel better, maybe have lost some of this excess weight, and have more energy.
